Topic: EQ in ProTools 9 (OSX 10. 6.5) missing

Hi there.

Alphatrack working splendidly in Native with Nuendo 5 but I have to do this project in ProTools 9 (HUI).

When I select EQ the Alphatrack displays no EQ3 selected in insert C. Well there is an EQ3 in Slot C. Tried removing it and reinserting it. Still same message. Have I missed something in setting up? Anyone got a fix?

Hi John,

This problem started I think with ProTools 8.  What happened was the name of EQ3 in ProTools changed slightly and now is unrecognized.  However, the current workaround to this is to use the AlphaTrack's 'plug-in' button and then select the EQ and adjust the parameters from there.

Is there any chance that the EQ will be fixed in the future?

Is it possible to reassign the button?

Hi John,

I don't think you can assign any buttons when emulating a HUI.  I think everything has to be pretty much 'hard wired' in this case.

I know this issue is on a list of fixes but I don't know if or when to expect an update.
