Topic: AlphaTrack keeps waking my MBP from sleep...

hi

i'm a new, mostly very happy user of an AlphaTrack...

one thing annoying me is that if the AlphaTrack is plugged in, and i put MacBook Pro to sleep (running 10.5.6), it seems the AlphaTrack wakes the computer after about 5 minutes or so...

is there any way around this without actually unplugging the AlphaTrack?

oh, and the AlphaTrack is plugged into a powered Logitech 4 port USB hub...

I had never heard of this before. Did a quit web search and I'm afraid that this is actually a known issue in the new OSX 10.5.6. Apparently 10.5.6 can wake up your computer repeatedly if there is a USB device connected. Doesn't appear to matter what the device is. Let's hope they post an update soon to make it stop.

haha, yep, i just came in to find out that my MBP was already awake... i've been on 10.5.6 for a while and this hasn't been happening...

however i did unplug my hub with all my controllers on it last night, which means that the culprit actually must be my new Kensington Slimblade Trackball...
