Currently, I have a PC with a PCI slot. I will probably be upgrading this PC soon. Will the Wavecenter/PCI work in a new PC? Will Wavecenter/PCI work in a PCI-X slot? In other wrds, does the card follow the PCI 2.0 standard and work on a 3.3 Volt slot? Thanks in advance.

Sorry. The Wavecenter and Dakota cards work only in standard (5volt) PCI slots.
As you correctly noted, PCI-X is 3.3 volt, and PCI-E is a completely different interface altogether.
