Yes, great news indeed.  It'll be good to have everything working together again.

Chris

I've not come across any problems yet in 32-bit mode, mute/solo and channel display are all fine.

It depends on your sequencer.  It's working for me in Cubase 5  and 32-bit Logic, but not in 64-bit Logic - see below.

Almost a month now and still no official reply?

Works fine with Logic 9.1 in 32 bit mode, but just not recognised in 64 bit mode.

I'm waiting on M-Audio to release a Snow Leopard driver for the Firewire Solo, so can't upgrade yet.  As soon as I can, I'll feed back my experience.

What's the position with Alphatrack and Snow Leopard?  I'm waiting on Sibelius and M-Audio before upgrading so there's no rush, but it would be good to know.

Chris

I think I've narrowed this down to projects with multi-timbral instruments.

I've also checked back with Logic 8, and here tracks are still selected correctly in the Arrange area when the Mixer is set to All.

Is anybody else having problems?

I've just noticed that the mixer view is randomly switching from Arrange to All - in Arrange view the Alphatrack is working fine, the problems are in the All view.

Not sure why this is happening, I'm sure it wasn't a problem in Logic 8, so I'll see if I can see a pattern.

I've just upgraded to Logic 9 and am having problems with selecting tracks, both with the buttons and the encoder.  Most of the time nothing happens, but sometimes a track will switch at random or Logic's tracklist will scroll up and down.  Other functions seem OK.

I've tried deleting and rescanning Alphtrack, but nothing has helped. It's working fine in Cubase 5.

Can anybody help please?

Thanks - that would be great.  Still loving Alphatrack with Logic & Cubase

I really like the way that, in Cubase, you can use the central encoder to move between markers and create markers by pressing the encoder (pan mode).

Would it be possible to add this to the Logic plug-in?  Tapping on the touch strip is great, but I find myself using the encoder method a lot when using Cubase.

Chris

Just to confirm that I've had the same problem with controlling multi-timbral instruments in Logic, so it would be good if there was a solution.  Handling instruments like Kontakt and Battery seems to me to be one area where Cubase does much better (and works better with AT).
