Using Adobe Audition 1.5:  Once an auto-punch is set up, is there a way to rehearse the punch before committing to it?

Will the 2 coexist in the same computer? I can't find a Montana but have a line on a Wave Center.  I want to be able to use both cards at the same time to shuttle and monitor all 24 tracks to and from an HD24.  Is this possible or am I out of luck?

I can't locate a Montana to increase my ADAT I/O count.  Will the Dakota work along side an EMU 1820 without giving me any grief?
