Topic: AlphaTrack and Cubase 5.5.2

Hi everbody,

i use the AlphaTrack with Cubase 5.5.2

I´ve installed the Frontier drivers - all ok. Cubase recognized the AlphaTrack and it works fine - Cubase and AlphaTrack work together perfect.

BUT: Cubase crash every 2 minutes - without any error messages. The application is getting closed from one second to the next.

i´ve deinstalled the AlphaTrack Driver - and Cubase works without crash. So i think the AlphaTrack is the reason for the problems.

does anyone know this problem - who could help me.

Hi andyf2000,

I haven't heard of this happening short of having installed wrong drivers.  What version OS are you running and what version of the AlphaTrack driver have you installed?

Cheap hubs can be a problem too, but that usually brings Windows crashing down, not just Cubase.  Worth trying the AlphaTrack on its own USB port if you haven't already.
