Topic: How to restore fader to volume control in Cubase?!

This may seem like a dumb question, and I hope it is. I've got my Alphatrack in a state where I seem to be unable to make it return to where the fader controls the track levels, in Cubase on a Mac. I can push the buttons for Pan, Send, EQ, Plug-in, and Auto, and switch it to controlling each of those items. But I can find no way to get it back to where the fader controls the actual volume of the tracks. With Plug-in active, the fader will alter the FX, and so on...but how can I get back to controlling the volume??? This seems insane but I'm clearly missing it because I've tried everything and the simple PDF docs don't help at all. Thanks for any help...

Re: How to restore fader to volume control in Cubase?!

doesn't the "FLIP" button work?

Hi masonoise,

First make sure that you're in 'Pan' mode on the AlphaTrack then I'm pretty sure all you need to do then is push the left encoder in then turn it counter clockwise.  When in this mode a push/turn selects between, if I recall, tracks/inputs/master or something along those lines.  So you're probably "stuck" in one of the other modes.

Hope this helps....
