Common Questions and Their Answers
- Are the Settings controls “live?” In other words, can I adjust them while I’m playing?
- Yes, all changes you make in the Settings screen take effect immediately.
- What’s the difference between the Volume slider on the Main screen, and the Volume slider on the back?
- The slider on the Main screen controls the output level of the theremin oscillator, but doesn’t affect the loudness of audio from the iPhone’s Music Player (which can be active at the same time). The slider on the Settings screen is a master volume control for the iPhone/iPod and simultaneously affects theremin and Music Player output. Note that if your device has hardware volume up/down controls (e.g. iPhone or second-generation iPod Touch), those buttons affect the volume slider on the Settings screen.
- How do I play along with tunes on my iPhone music player?
- Click here to see step-by-step instructions, or here for a video demonstrating this. (These pages use “Rainstick” and “Cowbell Plus” instead of “Theremin” but the technique is the same.)
